Girls aren't supposed to play golf?

Ladies...have you ever walked into that man filled board room, all eyes were on you (the only female) and you got the distinct impression that you weren't welcome?  Yep.  Well, me too... and my girls joined that club today at the ripe old ages of 9, 12, and 13.  They headed out to the golf course today with Daddy Reggie.  It was a beautiful, sunny 75 degree day and perfect golfing weather.  The girls are still waiting to debut their final fashion design originals to the golfing world (and they will be seen here first of course!), so they were dressed casually in school shirts and shorts.  So ...my husband is standing on the tee box of regulation hole #8 with all three girls waiting for the course to clear, when one rather old Walter Matthau look alike pulls up in his golf cart.   He grumpily states, "Aren't they (sweeping hand motion towards my daughters) supposed to only play on the par 3 course."  So Reggie, remembering that golf IS a gentleman's sport, gives him a defiant "no", then turns to the girls and encourages them to go ahead and tee off.  The youngest steps up to the ball, she swings, the ball flies over the water, and it lands 10 feet in front of the green.  The middle girl...same thing except 5 feet over the green.  Then the oldest, and hers lands on the green...10 feet from the pin.  As grumpy old man stands with mouth open and in disbelief, my sweet little family shoulders their clubs and walks down the fairway to sink their putts.  So you thought girls aren't supposed to play golf?  Think again Max Goldman.  You've just been AMP'd.
